About Alex Mann
Alex Mann is a Boston-based stand-up comedian, actor, and communication trainer whose sharp wit and grounded storytelling reflect a life spent navigating everything from correctional facilities to comedy clubs. His humor blends blue-collar honesty with a Boston edge — tackling fatherhood, divorce, dating over 40, and 25 years working as a Corrections Officer.
The need for a quick wit started early. Switching from public schools — where the bullies later ended up in jail — to private schools — where the bully was a nun — gave Alex a lifetime of material and a resilient sense of humor.
